Lankershim & Van Nuys

Isaac Lankershim and his son-in-law, Isaac Van Nuys, owned most of the San Fernando Valley in the late 1800s and were the founders of Hollywood Memorial Park (now Hollywood Forever), although they are not buired there. They are here at Evergreen Cemetery in East LA, where rich white landowners went to be buried at that time. Hollywood was for showbiz types.
