Dwight Frye

Often mistakenly identified as the original "Igor," Frye actually played "Fritz," the slightly deranged grave-robbing assistant in the 1931 Frankenstein, and the fly-eating Renfield in Dracula of the same year.

Forty years later, original shock-rocker Alice Cooper immortalized Frye in a song that seems based on Frye's characters, not his life.
