Helen Kushnick

Jay Leno's controversial manager who was predominantly responsible for his role as Johnny Carson's successor on the Tonight Show, and the creator of the so-called booking wars between him and Letterman. In the TV film, The Late Shift, she was played by Kathy Bates.
