Ernest Schoedsack

Adventurer, Film Producer, he co-directed the 1933 original "King Kong" with his partner, Meriam C. Cooper. He was the model for the character of Jack Driscoll. His wife, Ruth Rose, co-wrote the screenplay, basing the shipboard romance of Jack and Ann Darrow on their own real life story.
