Gorgeous sexpot actress of the 50s, her tumultuous life was the stuff of tragic legend. While simultaneouly engaged to actors Franchot Tone and Tom Neal, Neal famously beat Tone to within an inch of his life in a jealous rage over her. She then married Tone for a few months before going back to Neal. She slid into a life of drug addiction, alcoholism and prostitution before dying at the age of 39 at the San Diego home of her parents.
